Polish Tree at Festival of Trees exhibit

FESTIVAL OF TREES – A Celebration of Community and Culture on display November 20, 2019 – January 5, 2020

We are happy to announce that Polish Christmas Tree is part of the seasonal exhibition at the White River Valley Museum in Auburn!

This year, our volunteers created “Christmas tree from childhood”. We hope that you will find many elements resembling decorations from your home.

On your way out you will be asked to vote for your favorite tree.  There is a prize to win ($500!) so please vote for our Polish tree!

From Museum’s website:

The Festival of Trees encourages us all to catch the holiday spirit, no matter what winter holidays you observe, and to learn about the traditions and cultures that make up the rich tapestry of people that call the South Sound home. The exhibit will feature 10 artificial trees decorated by local ethnic heritage groups; the trees will be spread through the Museum’s permanent exhibits which will also be decorated for the holidays!

Guests who visit the Festival of Trees exhibit will be able to vote for their favorite tree and on December 20th the winning tree will be announced. The winning tree will receive a $500 award to their organization or a 501c3 charity of their choice.

This exhibit is made possible thanks to 4culture and the City of Auburn.”
